Library snowfolks

Here in Minnesota, kids are able to make their own snowmen out of real snow. Not at the moment – all of our beautiful snow has melted, leaving a very cold, dreary vista. (My thought is, if it’s going to be cold, it may as well be pretty, too.) Evidence a few weeks ago……

In Sunny Florida, however, the kids have to imagine snowmen. At the seriously cool Orange County Library System, they’ve given kids (and everyone else!) an opportunity to build a snowman. Can you imagine? Kids visiting the library’s website…..for fun. Fabulous.

As if that isn’t cool enough, once you save your snowman you’re given choices of which snow-related books you’d like to see, and are taken to the library catalog. Kudos. Seriously fabulous.
