The sign said….

There’s a wonderful, thought-provoking post on Tame the Web that discusses signage at your libraries. What messages are you sending? Are you inviting, or very definitely not inviting? Are you buying into the old curmudgeonly librarian stereotype? Are you asking people to come in, or implying that you’d rather they didn’t?

There are ways around all of these issues – cell phones, games, etc. – without constantly barraging the patrons with “No! No! NO!

What are you doing to say, “Yes!” ???
